Emily Jane Seebohm (@emcbomb) has been on the Australian swim team since she made her first team in 2007 at the age of 14. She is a backstroke specialist but has also competed at an international level in Butterly, Freestyle and Medley. Emily has been a former World Record holder individually and as part of the Medley Relay and is hoping to make her 4th Olympics this year
What does IWD mean to you?
It means supporting and celebrating all the amazing things that women do all the time.
Who are 3 women that inspire you and why?
Taylor swift because she’s not afraid to not fit the mould of what she should be. My mum and my nan because they taught me how to be a strong woman.
What exciting things do you have coming up that we can know about?
I have a meet every month leading into the Olympic Trials in June!
Do you have a morning ritual to help you get into the training zone?
I love turning the music up driving to training, helps me get in a really good mood.
What podcasts are you currently listening to?
I’m not listening to any at the moment!
What is your favourite way to unwind after a day of training?
I love washing my hair and drying it because with training it’s hardly ever dry!
What are 3 beauty products you can’t live without?
I’m swearing by the skincare company the original and about from that I love using Nak for my Haircare. Honestly my hair is treated like god because I love it so much!
What is your go to drink (can be anything!):
I love a pina colada when I have a chance to have a drink!
What is your favourite BBT product?
I love the self tanning mouse in violet to use if I have an event on the weekend!
