Before the salons, before the products, before the growth…
there was Jazz, a spray tan machine, and a car full of equipment.

Driving up and down the Gold Coast doing mobile tans.
Back-to-back clients. Late nights. Early mornings.

This was around 2007 - when tanning looked very different to what it does now.

And from the very beginning, the focus was simple:

Skin first. Client always.

No trends. No shortcuts. Just real results.

There wasn’t a formula to follow back then.

No “viral” techniques. No overnight success.

Just learning how skin actually behaves…
and how to get the best possible result for every single client.

Because tanning isn’t just about colour.

It’s about:
– how the skin holds it
– how it fades
– how it wears over time

And back then? Most products weren’t considering any of that.

The problem no one was talking about

A lot of tanning products were focused on one thing only - colour.

Not skin.

Which is why so many people experienced:
– dryness
– patchy fades
– uneven results

(you know the ones…)

And after years of hands-on experience with clients, it became obvious:

There was a gap in the industry.

A need for products that didn’t just sit on the skin 
but actually worked with it.

So she created what didn’t exist yet

Instead of working around the problem…
Jazz decided to fix it.

BBT was built on a different approach:

Skin-focused tanning.

Formulas designed to:
– support the skin barrier
– wear evenly
– fade naturally
– actually feel good on the skin

Not just look good for one night.

From one client… to thousands

As demand grew, so did BBT.

One salon opened on the Gold Coast.
Then another… and another.

Now, BBT has grown into multiple locations across Queensland
all built on the same philosophy it started with.
