Who is Ultra Dark Violet designed for?

Ultra Dark Violet was designed for those with an olive undertone and those that like to take their self-tan to the next level. We know some of you love the deepest and darkest tan available, without streaking or heavy bronzers, which is why we decided to expand our collection and give the people what they want. Now, you can achieve that depth in your tan without compromise!

Does it feature the same formulation as other Bella Bronze Tan products?

Absolutely. Formulations free of parabens, fragrances and heavy bronzers are a non-negotiable for us and like all our products, Ultra Dark Violet is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

We created the Ultra Dark Violet formulation by harnessing the same signature ingredients in our self-tanning products. We pair nourishing ingredients like jojoba oil, rosehip oil and vitamin E with a generous blend of natural DHA to give you an even, streak-free tanning experience. This is a fast-drying product that can be removed in as little as 30-minutes which is a total win for those who are time poor or have left their tan to the last-minute.

How do I apply Ultra Dark Violet?

Now, when we said this product can go ultra dark, we weren’t kidding which is why we recommend moisturising the likes of your feet, elbows and knees prior to applying the product to avoid any inconsistencies in your result.

Then, it’s business as usual! Apply 1-2 pumps of the product to your Luxe Tanning Mitt and apply in a circular motion. You can use our tanning tools such as our Luxe Tanning Brush to refine anywhere you need, particularly those tricky areas like the elbows.

How do I go ultra ultra dark?

Okay, we get it. You want to go ultra dark!

To achieve the deepest and darkest result that our new self-tanner can offer, you’ll want to leave Ultra Dark Violet on for at least 5 hours before showering. You will see a result from as little as 30-minutes from this formulation but for the depth that’s given this newbie its name, you’ve got to be in it for the long haul.

For a light result, you can shower in 30-minutes to one hour, 1-3 hours for a medium result and 3-5 hours for a dark result. With so much flexibility in the formulation, use each application to experiment with different times to discover what level of depth works best for you.

As always, the most long-lasting tans come to those that take care of their tanned skin. Don’t forget your pre-tanning prep and post-tanning maintenance including regular moisturising and hydration from within.
