The Glow. Space
Say hello to our sister business...
The Glow.Space!
What services do you offer?
We treat the body and face using either fat cavitation, radio frequency, vacuum cavitation or a combination!
What is fat cavitation?
Ultrasound Fat Cavitation uses ultrasound waves to target stubborn pockets of fat. The vibrations penetrate through the skin and tissues to the fat cells. Traumatising these cells and breaking them down makes it easier for your body to excrete through the lymphatic system and help sculpt the body. This treatment is for the body only, we do not perform fat cavitation on the face or neck areas.
What is radio frequency?
Radio Frequency utilise heat to encourage the natural production of collagen and improve skin elasticity. It helps boost skin oxygenation and detoxification whilst also tightening and toning the area. This treatment is popular for postpartum tummy tightening and for a non surgical face lift! RF helps decrease the appearance of cellulite, fine lines and wrinkles. Most liken the feeling to a gentle hot stone massage.
What is vacuum cavitation?
Vacuum cavitation is a great treatment either on its own or added to a thigh fat cavitation session for the ultimate sculpting! This treatment involves strong pressure applied via a vacuum-like headpiece to greatly reduce the appearance of cellulite and remove excess fluid from the legs.
Are these treatments suitable for everyone?
For most people it is perfectly safe, but there is a small select group that cannot receive the above treatments: Women who are pregnant/breastfeeding, those that suffer cardiac and liver diseases, diabetics, pacemaker carriers, or those with an acute illness. Fat cavitation is also not recommended for those on acne medication such as roaccutane. Please contact us prior to booking for more information if you feel you may not be suitable.
Is it painful and is there any downtime?
Not at all! It is pain free and can be done in your lunch break. Some will experience mild redness that fades within the hour due to the heating element. We encourage those to drink plenty of water to help detoxify faster.
How many sessions will it take to achieve my desired result & are they permanent?
The recommended number of sessions is 6-10 but this can be less or more, depending on the individual. Following correct post treatment care instructions will help ensure your results are fast and long lasting. Results are permanent as long as your lifestyle and BMI does not change. We recommend 7 days between each session.
Check out these amazing results!
WHAT POST TREATMENT CARE DO I NEED TO FOLLOW:
FAT CAVITATION:
20 minutes of hot and sweaty exercise directly after your treatment is necessary for the body to utilise triglycerides released. A low carb/sugar/fat diet is necessary alongside this and best to not drink alcohol for at least the first 24 hours. The best results are seen after 72 hours of your treatment during the lymphatic drainage process. Drinking 2-3 litres of water each day is also a must.
RADIO FREQUENCY:
No hot shower or harsh scrubbing of the area post treatment and if on the face, daily SPF is required.
VACUUM CAVITATION:
Drinking 2-3 litres of water + body brushing pre shower will see the best results.
Do you offer payment plans and bulk buy packs?
We do! We offer Afterpay and Zippay in the salon and Buy 5, Get 1 Free. We also have an offer for new clients for 50% off their 2nd session if they book their 2nd session 7 days later. Please contact us to find out more.
Cosmetic Teeth Whitening
now available
How long does a treatment take?
Less than one hour is all that is needed to achieve maximum results in a double treatment and an hour and a half for a triple treatment.
Is teeth whitening suitable for everyone?
Teeth whitening is a treatment most people want and can have, however, it is not recommended for children under 16 years of age or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not have a teeth whitening treatment if you have gum disease or are requiring dental work.
What results can be expected?
This depends on each individual and the extent of discoloration, generally from 5-14 shades lighter can be achieved. The more stained your teeth, the more dramatic the result will be. Teeth whitening whether done by a dentist or another technician will not whiten your tooth enamel; the process will bleach the stains on the surface of your teeth. The results are also relevant to how regularly you have a teeth whitening procedure or use home whitening treatments. Where whitening is done every 6-12 months it is considered a maintenance procedure and results will be less dramatic.
whitening procedure or use home whitening treatments. Where whitening is done every 6-12 months it is considered a maintenance procedure and results will be less dramatic.
Should teeth whitening be done by a Dentist?
Teeth whitening is purely cosmetic and non dental. The products we use are gentler than and just as effective as those used by the dentist. All our products are Australian compliant and produced to the highest standards. Teeth whitening, no matter who does it bleaches stains from the surface of the teeth it does not whiten enamel.
How long will a teeth whitening treatment last?
Teeth will maintain their fresh new appearance for around one year. Re-staining depends largely on diet and lifestyle. Smoking, coffee, tea, fruit juice, sodas all staining foods and beverages will eventually re-stain the surface of your teeth.
Is teeth whitening safe?
We offer the latest whitening gel approved for use in Australia. We have a hygienic non-touch procedure at NO time will a technician touch you or your mouth. Our gel is gentle and safe, problems are extremely rare. Teeth Whitening is safe for crowns and veneers although these will not lighten as much as natural teeth.
Teeth Whitening Aftercare
The White Diet
After a teeth whitening treatment, the pores of your enamel are open and this makes them extra vulnerable to any stains which can reverse a lot of the whitening benefit from your treatment. Follow the White Diet for 24-48 hours after a teeth whitening treatment. Once the pores close, which usually happens within 24-48 hours after the procedure, you can resume your normal habits. An easy rule to remember is anything that would stain white fabric; Avoid it!
Remember though, the more staining foods in your diet the faster you will re-stain your teeth. Taking care with what you eat will keep your smile whiter for longer.
For long lasting results, be sure to follow The White Diet after every teeth whitening treatment including after use of a home touch up kit.
You may have a follow up treatment in 4 months if you desire. Keep in mind the more regularly you have a teeth whitening treatment the smaller the results of the treatment will be as there are not as many stains to bleach.
